What material do you print with?

Our home-decor pieces are printed with a plant-based bioplastic derived from renewable sources such as corn starch and sugarcane. It is not petroleum-based — the same family of materials used in food-contact utensils, tea bags and medical sutures.

Is the material safe for the home?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The base polymer is classified as generally recognised as safe (GRAS) by the U.S. FDA for food-contact applications, is used in ISO 10993 tested medical devices, and does not off-gas volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at room temperature. It contains no BPA, no phthalates and no heavy metals.

Is it safe around children and pets?

Yes. The polymer is biologically inert — the same family of material used in dissolvable surgical sutures and in-body medical implants. It does not leach plasticisers or endocrine disruptors. As with any small object, keep decorative pieces out of reach of very young children and animals that might chew them.

Are dog bowls food-safe?

Accepted Answer

The raw polymer is food-contact approved. However, 3D-printed surfaces have microscopic layer lines that can harbour bacteria if not properly cleaned. We recommend using our bowls as decorative or dry-food holders and hand-washing after each use with warm water and mild soap. For raw or wet food, we suggest inserting a smooth ceramic or stainless liner.

Is it biodegradable?

Under industrial composting conditions (58 °C, controlled humidity), the base polymer breaks down into water, CO₂ and biomass within a few months. At home or in the environment, degradation is much slower — treat these pieces as durable products, not disposables.

How should I care for my piece?

Accepted Answer

Wipe with a soft damp cloth. Avoid dishwashers, direct sunlight for extended periods, and temperatures above 55 °C (leaving a vase in a hot car in summer, for instance). Do not use abrasive scourers or solvents.

Can vases hold water and fresh flowers?

Accepted Answer

Yes — most of our vases are printed watertight, or supplied with a removable glass insert for fresh-cut flowers. The product page states which method applies for each piece.

Are the colours stable?

Accepted Answer

The pigments are UV-stabilised and rated for indoor use. Direct, prolonged sunlight (south-facing window sills for years) may cause slight shift over time — as with any decorative object.

We currently ship within the EU only. Croatia: 2–4 business days, €4.95 (free over €50). EU near (SI, AT, HU, DE, IT, SK, CZ): 4–6 business days, €7.95 (free over €70). Yes. All prices displayed include Croatian VAT (25 %) and are charged in EUR.

Visa, Mastercard and Maestro through secure Shopify checkout, plus SEPA bank transfer on request for larger orders.

Can I return an item?

Accepted Answer

Yes. As an EU consumer you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason, under Directive 2011/83/EU. See our Shipping & Returns page for the full procedure and model withdrawal form.

Custom colours are available on request — please contact us separately with the reference colour (RAL / Pantone) and we'll confirm feasibility for your order.
